Pastor Tyler and his wife Carolyn have always had a love for the town of Honesdale. Pastor Tyler grew up as a pastors son and after meeting his wife at Northpoint Bible College, he and Carolyn joined the staff at Peckville Assembly of God under the leadership of his father, Pastor Terry Drost.

Pastor Tyler would often ride through the town of Honesdale on his Harley-Davidson and think to himself that this great little town needed a faith filled church. Riding by the old Assembly of God building on Church Street always stirred something in his heart. It has always been part of his heart as a pastor to plant churches in areas that really need it the most.

In 2019 the opportunity arose for Peckville Assembly of God to take on the former Honesdale Assembly of God and Thrive Church Honesdale was born. Now along with his wife and their two children, Pastor Tyler and Carolyn have come to love the people of Honesdale and they look forward to making deeper connections within this great community.
